Hey friends! How’s your Tuesday been?

We just got word this afternoon that our paperwork is ready and we can pick up our new VISAs tomorrow! We’ve been out in town for 10 days waiting for new paperwork. So…this is a relief and while we’ve enjoyed some down time at the beach we are also ready to get home.

It’s always harder for me to blog on the road, because I’m not in my kitchen creating new recipes for you all, and usually I stick with my most trusted workouts while traveling rather than developing something new. 

But, I have been lurking some other great blogs during my down time and thought I’d share a few links with you all!! 

First off some recipes!!

Lemon Buckwheat Waffles – Yum!

I’m dying to make Pete homemade Hot Cross buns for Easter…brings back childhood memories. 🙂 My Mom made the best. 

And any excuse to make scones…especially these Dark Chocolate Cherry ones.

Also I’ve been on a major Miso kick lately, so this soup will be making an appearance very soon. 

Two of my most prized purchases in the U.S. a month ago were butternut and kaboca squashes and I’m digging the looks of this salad. 

And on a sweet note:

It’s April…which means I’ll be turning a year older at the end of the month, so while I usually curb my intake of desserts, I’ve been wanting to try something healthy this year. I haven’t decided which one quite yet, but these are the front runners!

So many great recipes out there! I need to get back in my kitchen and start cooking.
